What does this mean? To me, it means hey, Iraq is back and we survived the dictator and the everything else since he was taken out of power…. Now we want to use every form of information sharing that we can to tell the world we want to experience what you have too and we are becoming more successful every day to becoming a democratic nation. They understand the power of U-Tube and the internet which will help connect their message globally! And they are thanking U-tube and it’s employees as well! How about that! I think they are saying to the international word, hey were getting our you know what together and come see what we have to offer for change. I agree with whomever posted this information, this is great to see! This is just the beginning of more positive information being shared about Iraq during its recovery and insertion back into the global market.

It’s terrible what the good people of Iraq have had to endure as they pull their country back from the brink of anarchy. We are witnessing a brave and determined effort. I’d almost become numb to the violence but this video makes their struggle more real for me somehow. I wish them peace.

My family is part of a group of Dinar investors that have billions of Dinar and have pre-arranged a special deal with Bank Of America to get a better rate than the one that will be posted. That group is saying that the R/V has happened and that we will know the rate in the morning. They have made no wild specualtions nor have they previously announced an R/V. The man who made the announcement said he has waited six years for this and now it has happened. I know everyone will file this under rumors but if you knew who these guys were, you probably wouldn’t. Hope to never look on the Internet about Dinars again!!!!

I too heard the RV will be announce Monday. This comes from a group of very well connected lifetime investors that have made a fortune by investing. They are all amp’d up talking about it. We can only hope this is true.

I also heard that large notes have 45 days to be cashed in or traded for smaller notes. They also said the rv was around $3.

Here is today’s newest rumor from A*** M*****
“A member that goes by ********** called me
this morning. I have been in touch with him
since a couple weeks ago when he received a
phone call from his bank manager and began
meeting with investment officials from various

This morning he called on his way to the airport.
He said he has a confirmed rate of $2.47, is

Evidently you dont have enough Dinar to warrant a special meeting with any bank. But, our very large sum of Dinar, did warrant a private meeting and we DO have a rate that was offered to us if we funnel our dinar through said bank in the U.S., when the Dinar does RV. So no, don’t delete Davids post, becasue it is true, folks are being offered prefered rates if your holdings are large enough.

I have contacted bank of america in north carolina, they are not selling or buying iraq dinars. they do have de la rue machines but they are to count us money only. they said they do not know anything about iraq money just kwait money. i’m not sure who george spoke with or where his aunt got her info from but i called personaly at 1-704-332-1788 n.c. branch bank of america and this is what i was told.

I know that it is very possible to say things without saying them. The impression has been raised that this information could not be true since no one in the Pentagon would ever be able to leak any information. Anyone who has been in positions of information knows that information is able to be passed in ways and means that does not ‘violate’ legalities.

My father is an ordained minister as are many of the investors in his group. You just called a whole bunch of comitted Christians who put their lives on the line for Christ everyday a bunch of liars. My Father has offered to pay for my plane ticket to travel to North Carolina to Bank of America to cash in because the bank has offered this group a discount on the percentage that the bank charges for the exchange. You do realize that no one will give you the actual going rate with no fees don’t you? How do they make any money if that is the case? Does it really seem so ridiculous that if you had say a few billion dinar that the banks might all want your business and some of them might be willing to give you a discount to get you to do the exchange with them? I can understand why and how the Pentagon could have a role in the RV. I doubt most hightly that there is not much that happens in Iraq that someone in the military at some level does not know about in some form. While the investment in Iraqi includes China, North Korea, Japan and many other countries I doubt there are any more invested than America. There is major political and military investments in the progress of Iraq. The fact that someone mentioned the Pentagon as one needing to sign off on any RV gives some degree of credence. It will be interesting to see. I can only hope.

Looks promising but then again, so does other stuff in the past with no RV announcement.
Many of us here invested $10,000, $15,000, $20,000 or more in the Iraqi dinar believeing the hype that it will RV and that the dinar is here to stay.
My worry is that the dinar currency will fail due to it’s instability.
What’s not to say that a civil war breaks out among the 2 or 3 religious groups and thus Iraq is split into 2 or 3 different countries with their own currency? Then what? Is this even a remotely possible scenario?

david i am a little confused. earlier today i called the bank of america in north carolina . they had no idea what i was talking about. they said they do not sell or buy iraq dinar. they only sell and buy kwait dinar, do you have a number of who you have spoke with at bank of america. i spoke with someone with customer service then directly to the branch manager in north carolina at 400 south tryant. she said they do not fool with it at all.

I don’t know that I would give much credit to a rumor about counterfeit dinar. It’s a very complex currency, with tons of the latest anti-counterfeiting systems. I have very little doubt that at the current prices, it would be cheaper to simply buy the real thing than to produce even semi-credible fakes.

Have you ever thought that maybe it wasnt going to RV? Currencies increase when there is a demand for that currency or for the resources that country has. Yes Iraq has set up oil contracts and etc. but it is not even in production yet. They arent even able to trade with other countries yet because of the sanctions so even though there maybe a demand for these resources and etc. until they are able to trade and the dinars become recognized everywhere then it probably wont increase. Why do you think they and other countries have been pressuring the UN to rid Iraq of the sanctions?

I Iive in Charlotte and do all my banking personal and business at BofA, and have asked my personal banker and my investment Banker and know one knows anything about the Dinar. Strange. On another note: I have even asked some high level business associates of mine in Kuwait who work for NBK, and they said an RV is unlikely anytime soon.

In response to the questions about B of A. I didn’t say that this group is going to a branch bank in North Carolina. Contacting the local branches won’t get you any info. This group is going to the Bank of America world headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina. I didn’t speak to anyone at the bank. As I said before, my Father is in contact with the group. I am more of a hanger on. They are also being set up for investment seminars through the bank so that they will keep their money at B of A. I don’t know the rate since no one does but my Father said that the group will receive a substantial discount on the exchange fees. You guys do realize that their will be fees charged by the bank for any monetary exchange don’t you? That is where the difference lies, not in the actual rate. It seems overly cynical to jump to such negative conclusions about what I have said. I try to take people at their word unless they prove to be a liar. Since it doesn’t affect you at all, what harm comes from accepting what I say? If you don’t think it’s possible, you could choose to not comment rather than calling me a liar. I wish we could pull back from the progressively darker path our society seems bent on.

As I said before David, we have heard this story before many times, it just seems that all of these are recycled rumors. If your group has a special rate GREAT!! But why is it that when anyone else tries to contact any of these banks they get NO WHERE?
There are just some things that make you go HMMMM, & this is one of them.
As far as the progressively darker path our society seems bent on, this is an investment information site and so far about all of the rumors that have been on all these forums have been FALSE, that is the reason most of us on here have one eyebrow raised and say, we’ll see.

Good morning all. Hope you all have a wonderful day. We are suppose to have sunny skies, and 75 degrees here in Phoenix. This is the weather we look forward to all year. Wish you all were here. We coud take the boat out for a cruise on a lake just north of town called Lake Pleasant, or east of town on Sahuaro Lake, or Bartlett Lake where the bass fishing is pretty good, and last but not least Canyon Lake. J&J I can vouch for what David is saying. I am in Kentucky and a group that I am with has done the same thing with a bank here. The way that we went about it is that we formed a group first of people who all said that they will exchange all there dinars at the same bank. Then we contacted the bank about exchanging them. The one stipulation is that we all must open an account with them. The bank will in return give us a better deal on all the fees that they hit you with when you exchange them and maybe even a little better exchange rate. The more people we get to join our group the better deal we can expect to get. The same thing is true when you buy the dinars. The more you buy the less bank fees they charge you and the better deal you can get. You contacting a bank and playing the what if game I do not think will work. Thats like contacting a bank and saying what if I had a million dollar what could you do for me and you have an account with one hundred dollar in it. Well, when you get a million we can talk about that, but with what you have now we can do this.

J&J call a local BOA & ask for the number of their corporate headquarters, & give them a call, tell them that you know hundreds of investors that combined have several hundred million dollars worth of dinars and ask them if we can get a special conversion rate upon rv, if they did it for one, they will do it for all.
Report back to us what you find, if they do it, you will be the hero of dinar info.

I just refuse to buy into every rumor that comes along anymore. What did I say that is so offensive to you, I said if their group got a better rate GREAT.
The only crime that I have committed is to try to run down some of these “rumors” only to find out that they were WRONG and as soon as I have come back with…I have just spoke to _____________ and that information isn’t correct, only to have it come back again with it wasn’t that bank, it was THIS bank.

Parson a rule I go buy is if it doesnt have some kind of document or article to back it then its not real, its a pumper more than likely. That that one guy *****. What normal person or retired vet ,as he claims he is, has the hook up at the pentagon, imf, cbi and etc. Even you he did have these friends in these places I would think that they wouldnt give info to jepordize their job.

well,enough is enough. i bought 50 millon a few at a time and paid several hundred ove rthe 1000 per million. then i wanted more, so as it says on their webb, for 50million or more call for a quote. i did and paid $5o,ooo for 50,ooo dinar. who would do a thing like this, dinartrade and ALI.

I have one ? and would like some input. What if the Rv sets for tomorow, or before this weekend,(lets just say) Does any one have a game plan. The reason i’am saying we have 3 bank acounts, ( chase,regions,&capitalone) I know its going to be crazy. So if someone has any good info please let us know. I just don’t want to walk in a local bank and say here now what.

Just go to one of your banks and ask for the person who handles curency trades. Every bank has one if they trade in currencies. They will grab the current currency book to get the rate, then you give them your dinar. That’s it as far as I’ve been told by B of A where I bank. They may have to send the dinar out to confirm authenticity of the bills, then they deposit the amount into your account. Then you need to see a tax attorney or cpa for tax advice. End of story.

Cromwell, that is the same story that’s been getting knocked around since the current price lock went into effect…back sometime in 2008, I think. The date at the top is just the current date. Check it, then wait a few minutes, and refresh the page. You’ll see the time change.

About an hour ago CNBC and FOX announced that BOS is paying back the
TARP LOANS that our government made to them ahead of schedule. Then in
the same breath they said that Wells Fargo is next. Now here is the
key point. They said that this would all be done in the next “two
days”. Where are they getting this money from? Is this the part where
we are supposed to act dumb again…….because I am good at that. …
remember when I told you the cave man feeding story? Last month
nations fed from the RI of the IQD. This week banks are feeding. Next
week ………IMO……….I have a good feeling in my heart that we shall feast.
I am not in the mood to share intel with you and back up my
statements. I believe I have earned the right in the last 13 months to
tell you ………..that everything is on course for the announcement. So
when will they announce it……..let’s talk about it.
Ali from DinarTrade has always said that he needs 7 days after the RI
is officially announced. When KU RV’d their currency it was not
publicly known……..until three days later. You see ……..a project like
“The Plan” is as complicated as invading a country and it requires
tight lips. When I mentioned the De La Rue plates last night it caught
a lot of people off guard………..because it was a well guarded step. The
only reason I knew was …………..because they are there at the banks. If
you don’t have a bank connection with this info ……….then it’s easy to
make fun when one is ignorant. There is great rumor that the countdown
for us to know……started today. So let’s say that we add three days and
it takes us to………Friday. I have a good feeling about Friday because
then I want you to add some intel to that date. It would take us to
the 11th. I am looking at that date for us to be able to cash in.
BUT !!! ………..I looking for the announcement on this coming Friday. If
it does not………..then it could be squeezed in on Sunday or Monday. I
must admit this “11th “ threw me for a loop ……….but I must also
admit………..that I forgot to calculate this three or seven day waiting
period after the official announcement. You see………that window will
allow banks to open the final sealed instructions. Yes ……….as
complicated as an invasion of a country. The most important
concentrated details are about to be revealed to banks. IMO………it
started today from an eastward to westward direction. One bank has
been assigned to do this………NO ……..I will not mention the bank. Our
sources know that the rate and sealed info have been given a go.
Info……an important convention ended today in Geneva. The participants
learned something about our investment. So ……..did I. The days are
numbered.
The auction had low figures today. That my dear friends is not normal
……….especially when coming back from a four day holiday. The bank’s
pockets were lowered just before Eid and they need to be refilled for
business as usual. Interesting……..the choice of words……….maybe
business is not usual. That would be good for us. On top of all
this……….the CBI auction page that always shows the market price……….on
the spreadsheet……….was null and void today. No figure what so ever.
IMO……..they are waiting for the RI numbers.
If you go to ….you will see an article that speaks of a new gulf
currency that is about to be introduced at a rate of 2.66. This in
itself is intel. Logic says that the IQD has to be higher than this.
If they bring 90% of the oil in to the GCC then it would justify the
IQD to be higher. It is 4 Middle East countries that belong to the GCC
and are scared to death that Iraq is about to join ………..the rest of
the world. They are trying to follow the pattern of the Euro dollar
based on their union oil reserves. IMO………this is good that they are
moving forward on this currency without ………..Iraq. You see when Iraq
finally is introduced to the GCC this gulf currency will have already
been kick started. The overwhelming oil that Iraq will bring into the
GCC will not only increase the IQD rate but also stabilize the new
gulf currency. They are trying to accomplish this within two years.
IMO……….it will take much less time than that.

A higher committee to work on extricating Iraq from Chapter VII
The cabinet formed a higher committee to determine the immunity on Iraq funds and seeking to derail the country’s Chapter VII, at the time of acknowledging the national strategy for poverty alleviation. This was announced by government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh, adding that the Council has adopted during the meeting (42) on the usual six important decisions. The Dabbagh said the government had formed a committee headed by Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, the membership of representatives and the rank of Deputy Minister from the ministries of defense, finance, science and human rights, justice and oil, transportation and adviser to Prime Minister’s political and legal contexts, with a view to negotiating with the United Nations and China to study the plan of work to determine vulnerability to Iraq’s money and ways to exit from Chapter seventh in the future. and the government approved the national strategy for poverty alleviation in Iraq, recommended by the committee formed at the Ministry of Planning and Development Cooperation in collaboration with the World Bank also agreed to authorize the Ministry of Youth and Sport the power to contract with a company to accomplish (10) sports halls this year. Ali al-Dabbagh said in a statement Tlguetabbahnschp him: that the Council of Ministers approved the authorization of the Minister of Transport to negotiate and sign a draft agreement on air transportation between Iraq and Bahrain, as adopted by the Council of State while taking into account all the observations and the Finance Ministry and the Foreign Ministry to prepare and document the necessary authorization in accordance with contexts adopted. He agreed to grant conditional preliminary approval of Plum real estate company to build a city on the banks of the holy city of Karbala through investment and the authorization of the National Investment Commission to negotiate with the company mentioned to put the items detailed investment licenses and presented to the Council of Ministers in order to consider granting investment license according to the Investment Law that This does not entail accepting any financial or legal obligations on the government or the Investment Authority to the company in question. The Council of Ministers on the Ministry of Finance to allocate more than one billion dinars from the contingency reserve accounts to the Office of the Prime Minister (social benefits) for the payment of this amount as grants and social benefits and compensation to the victims of an urgent terrorist operations in the region of Taza in the province of Kirkuk, and Sher Khan Tepe in Nineveh province, and the victims of other terrorist operations.

I read the bankruptcy article about 2 or 3 weeks ago. This is not new info.
I heard the BofA story too today and my first instinct was to ask where they are getting the fund because they made a statement that indicated they did not have it all yet but would have it in 2 days. It immediately made me think about the RV.
Will be interesting to see if this comes about.

I am reading on other forum sites some very interesting news about an RV. There is supposed to have been a RV but no direct confirmation found. My local bank down the street except’s and sells Dinar and their Fee for exchanging dinar for usd is only $10.00 Dollars ,but to buy Dinar their Fee is $30.00
plus the current price. I would tell you the name of the bank , but I don’t want to stand in line when the Dinar RV’S LOL.

I also found a guy that was stationed in Iraq for some time and put himself in to great dept losing all his rental property’s ,businesses, and wife buying up billions in Dinar and almost went to jail for it. My buddy and I are going to sell the Dinar for him. I’m not sure yet what price we will settle on for 1 million dinar, but it will be at least 200 cheaper than anyone else and we will be selling it on Ebay buy it now. Keep your eye’s open for it coming soon, have billions to sell!!!!!!!!!!!

ok just got done after being up all night finding out what was going on
i was right on my explanation last night
ok this comes from the treasury
and yes they are open
it is almost 10am
now the treasury sources said that the are not wrong
that i was right on my guess about the transfers out and the usd taken in
all the expenditures is them buying up fiat money from tbills and cbi bills
the usd is taken in for the sale of iqd within iraq
now when if they did not take any usd in they can rv anytime during the day.
But if they take usd in they can still rv.
But they must wait until their business day is done.
The treasury said they expect it to be in the us still today and technically will still be a thursday rv
but they said nothing has changed and it is iraqs intention to rv today/for tomorrow. Which is what cbi assured the central bank of kuwait.
Now he is calling me back to see if they have any update at all that i may need to know.
But as of right now it is on. Again don’t call the banks
they don’t know ***
be patient like you were last night with me.
I said i wouldn’t let you down and i gave my word that this was going to be over

To Ernest, I receive a lot of my info from a group of investors. I only rely on this site and info from them so if I post something that’s my only source. Also I check any update from Dinar Trade.

I am monitoring the dinar and this blog very closely. I try my best to share quality information, not rumors, although mistakes do happen. It takes a while to sort through it all and pick out what’s worthy. Therefore, I do not post on a daily basis, but when I do, I hope is it helpful and informative without the let down. I encourage you and others to continue sharing regardless of what I do, encouraging one another as we go. I believe it’s good to have a place to connect with other investors.
Currently I am working on posts and other resources to add to this blog to help with post rv needs. For anyone looking for tax help, your best bet is to find a good tax professional. Keep in mind that you may have to educate him/her as a lot of professionals still don’t know about this and/or consider it a scam. I strongly suggest anyone who has not secured good financial/tax professionals to do so asap. Don’t wait until after rv.

My guess is; if they dont RV by Friday December 18 (New Year in Iraq) It will be in 2010.

People, you all seem like very good people for the most part. This is one of the best investments I have seen in a very long time. It was very risky 3 years ago when I got in, but recent developments have turned this into a very solid investment. With all the oil, natural gas, sulphur, and agriculture that Iraq has the potential to produce, we will all be very wealthy in fives years max. The Rv could very well happen any day, but even if it doesn’t for 5 years I will still be happy. Just have some patience and keep watching the news. It will happen, I am sure of it.
